Basile examines the tyre on site: if the puncture is on the tread and the tyre body is undamaged, it is repaired there and then. If it cannot be repaired safely, a replacement tyre is fitted from the van's stock of common sizes — always fitted in pairs on the same axle, which keeps braking balanced on wet coastal roads. A flat battery or a spare wheel that needs mounting are handled the same way, at the roadside or wherever the car is parked.
We come to the car park, campsite or hotel
You do not need to find a garage or drive anywhere on a damaged tyre. Basile's workshop van reaches you wherever the vehicle has stopped: a seafront car park in Fécamp, a campsite pitch, the driveway of a holiday rental, or a hotel car park near the cliffs of Étretat. Just describe where the car is and what has happened — the price and the arrival time are confirmed on the phone before the van sets off.
Open 24 hours a day, every day
The phone line answers at any hour, including nights, Sundays and French public holidays — exactly when most local garages are closed. A small surcharge applies outside normal daytime hours; it is always stated on the phone before the van leaves, so the price you hear is the price you pay.
